The District

Join fellow tenants outside to help plant, maintain, and harvest The District Burlington’s community garden! Learn how to grow your own with professional assistance from Green City Growers urban farmers. Weekly sessions and tasks geared to all skill levels. No change of clothes necessary! Where?

The garden is located between 700 & 800 District Ave.

When?

The program will take place bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm.

What's Growing?

Carrots, chives, beans, onions, kale, garlic, cabbage, okra, collards, hot peppers, potatoes, basil, lemon balm, mint, parsley, oregano, and more!

Gardening During COVID

Face masks are required to participate. Please adhere to social distancing when gardening. Disposal gloves and hand sanitizer will be available for use.
