Kendall Center

Join your community outside in Kendall Square, Boston to help plant, maintain and harvest the Kendall Center Garden! Learn how to grow-your-own with professional assistance from our Green City Growers’ urban farmer! FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Teaming up with Kendall Square participants, our farmer guides the volunteers in managing Kendall's Rooftop Garden Center. Participants help to decide what will be planted in season and are welcomed to take home the produce after it is harvested. Food that isn't taken by volunteers goes to Lovin' Spoonfuls and is distributed to communities in need. We welcome anyone to join the program for a lunch break, brief visit or the full hour that our farmer is on site. You decide how active you would like to be in watering, harvesting, planting or weeding. Learn from our farmers how to grow-your-own fresh produce!
