Join your co-workers outside to help plant, maintain, and harvest the employee garden at Hood Park. Learn how to grow your own with professional assistance from Green City Growers urban farmers. Weekly sessions and tasks geared to all skill levels. No change of clothes necessary! Produce grown is sent home with the employees, who participate every step of the way in the growing process.

The program takes place rain or shine on Wednesdays from 2pm-3pm

Where?

Off D street, in Northwest corner of the lawn area.

What's Growing?

Eggplant, sweet potatoes, onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, beets, kohlrabi, potatoes, beans, basil, chard, cilantro, hot peppers, sweet potatoes, kale, radishes, parsley, mixed greens, fennel, nasturtium, chamomile, edible flowers, carrots, lettuce, and more!
