City of Boston: Mayor Michelle Wu Announces 10 New Raised-Bed Garden Classrooms

We’re honored to install, maintain, and lead education programs in new gardens at 10 Boston Public Schools. This expansion of our partnership with BPS Sustainability, Energy and Environment Program was made possible through funding from GrowBoston.

These new additions bring the total number of active BPS school garden programs with Green City Growers to 44, with an additional 6 hydroponics programs kicking off this year. This opportunity furthers our mission in alignment with Mayor Michelle WuBoston Public Schools, and GrowBoston to provide a nurturing space for students to explore nutrition, environmental stewardship, and the joy of growing food. We’re proud to stand with these groups in building a sustainable future for Boston communities.
